Yogic Bodywork is a table-based fully clothed bodywork method that integrates traditional Yogic principles and postures with modern fascia-informed bodywork techniques. Using leverage and bodyweight, you will move your client into Yoga-based releasing and lengthening postures, similar to Thai Massage, but updated and enhanced by modern fascial science.

About the Instructor

Dr. Jared Cooper, PT

After 25+ years in practice, physical therapist Dr. Jared Cooper (Dr. C) founded the Bodywork Dojo, a continuing education school for bodywork professionals and therapists. His work as an educator has been featured on ABC News, in The Wall Street Journal, The NY Sun, and The Chicago Tribune. 

Dr. C is an instructor at the Center for Massage & Natural Health in Asheville, NC, and he is an approved Continuing Education Provider through the NCBTMB. Dr. C has also worked as an Adjunct Professor and clinical instructor for schools such as Seton Hall, Rutgers University, Western Carolina University, and the Osteopathic Manual Therapy Fellowship at Morristown Hospital. 

He earned his undergraduate degree from Cornell University, and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Southern California. Dr. C currently lives in a tiny home near the Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina with his wife Karen, his son Renly, and their adorable Aussie-Doodle Shae.
